Rivian is kicking off summer with another limited-time deal on its flagship R1 models. This month, customers can take advantage of $5,000 off the purchase or lease of a new Tri-Motor R1S or R1T.
After posting leaked images of the new 2026 Quad Motor Rivian R1T, I talked to some enthusiasts online, and we were all in agreement. Rivian is really coming into its own as a brand. The American automaker hit some growing pains when trying to scale production of its first-generation R1 models, but has since hit its stride.
The Gen 2 versions of the R1S and R1T continue to see strong sales while helping fund the development of the company’s additional models, like the R2, which recently began validation testing in real-world conditions (check out these wrap jobs too).
Rivian has reached a place in production and inventory where it can offer some serious deals on its existing models, much to the advantage of consumers looking to go electric while staying rugged. In May, we reported thar Rivian had introduced an enticing lease offer for its Dual Motor R1 BEVs with the Max battery pack.
That deal, called “Nothing but adventure,” included $0 down with up to $14,000 in savings thanks to the $7,500 EV credit, which was underwritten into each lease by Rivian. For June, Rivian has a fresh deal for customers, focused on the Tri-Motor versions of its R1 models.
Rivian’s latest deal is the “Summer Adventure Offer”
Per Rivian, its Summer Adventure Offer applies to any new Tri-Motor version of the R1S or R1T, and includes the California Dune Edition (pictured above). Rivian is offering $5,000 off the purchase or lease of the new Tri-Motor R1s as long as the customer takes delivery by June 30.
Additionally, customers who lease their Rivian R1S or R1T can take advantage of a $7,500 EV lease credit that Rivian will apply directly to the lease. Here’s the fine print:
Offer is open only to residents of the United States or Canada who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and who contact a Rivian Sales Advisor to obtain the discount on an order placed through Rivian’s R1 Shop for a qualifying vehicle between June 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025.
Any custom build, Demo vehicle, Pre-owned vehicle, and all other Rivian configurations, including Standard and Dual configurations are excluded from this offer. Discount will be applied after you speak to a Rivian Sales Advisor as part of your Rivian new vehicle transaction.
Existing pre-orders or reservations that have not converted to orders through confirming a configuration on rivian.com before June 1, 2025 are not eligible.
You can learn more on Rivian’s website, but it sounds like an excellent deal if you’re in the market for a new Tri-Motor, especially if you lease.
