oyal Ascot is upon us as the most valuable horseracing meeting in the country returns today.
There will be 35 races across five days, with the Gold Cup on Thursday the highlight along with the renamed Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and the traditional royal procession, King Charles’ first since ascending to the throne.
Around 300,000 people are set to descend on the Berkshire racecourse across the meet. Here’s how you can watch all the action.
How to watch Royal Ascot 2023
TV channel: ITV1 will be broadcasting the first six races of the day for free, with coverage beginning at 1.30pm every day. The preview show ‘The Opening Show’ will be broadcast from 9am to 10am across the meeting.
The only place to watch the Festival in its entirety is on Sky Sports Racing.
