RTX,
late Thursday said that Chief Operating Officer Christopher T. Calio will succeed Gregory J. Hayes as chief executive officer at the aerospace and defense company’s shareholder meeting scheduled for May 2. Hayes will continue to serve as executive chairman of RTX, and Calio was also appointed to the company’s board of directors effective Thursday, the company said. The executive change had been planned. RTX was formerly known as Raytheon.
