T

he Rugby World Cup is in full swing with matchday two now up and running as France returned to the top of Pool A with victory over Uruguay.

A much-changed Les Blues were almost made to pay for their nonchalance by the South Americans, who pushed the tournament hosts all the way before eventually going down 27-12 in Lille.

New Zealand face Namibia in Toulouse on Friday before Wales and Ireland return to action on Saturday, against Portugal and Tonga respectively.

Sunday sees South Africa face Romania before Australia face Figi. The round finishes with an intriguing clash between England and Japan.
