A Russian military base in Crimea was “blown up” on Sunday morning with thick black smoke spewed into the air.

A suspected drone attack hit the military base in Simferopol and an enormous explosion was heard at the oil storage facility.

Russian sources tried to claim that the explosion was “domestic” however the sheer scale of the blaze most certainly points to an attack.

Crimean Wind which is a Ukrainian Telegram channel has said that military base in Simferopol in occupied Crimea was a were “warehouses where fuel tanks are stored.”

Crimean Wind added, “We recommend that residents of nearby houses stay away from this place.”

In the area of Feodosia there was another attack where a huge fire was seen by Russian tourists in Crimea.

Russia has also said that they thwarted an attack by three sea drones which were aimed at the Kerch bridge in Crimea which joins the Russian Federation to the annexed peninsula.
