Moscow has been warned that “war” is coming to Russia and this is “the year of retribution” and ordinary Russians have been told by Ukraine this “inevitable.”

The Armed Forces of Ukraine has released a new video warning that dozens of locations across the Russian Federation will be attacked on 24 August, saying, these are “subject to change.”

AFU StratCom Telegram channel released a video which shows a young boy crying over a drawing of his family with a Ukrainian flag in the cartoon.

The young boy fold the picture into a paper plane then throws it in the direction of Russia, this then turns into a drone then a fleet of suicide drones which can be seen flying to multiple sites including Moscow.

This comes after Ukraine launched three drone strikes on Moscow and a section of a government skyscraper exploded on Sunday.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not confirm nor deny Kyiv was behind the attacks, but he did say, “Gradually, the war is returning to the territory of Russia – to its symbolic centres and military bases, and this is an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process.”

He warned the “war is returning to Russia” which will send shivers down the spines of the Russian population.

Zelensky said that destruction in Russia is “inevitable, natural and fair” amid Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine.

Speaking in video Zelensky said, “Russian aggression has gone bankrupt on the battlefield. Today is already the five hundred and twenty-second day of the so-called “special military operation.

“Ukraine is getting stronger. Gradually, the war is returning to Russia‘s territory – to its symbolic centres and military bases, and this is an inevitable, natural and fair process.

“But we must be aware that, just like last year, Russian terrorists can still attack our energy sector and critical facilities this winter.

“Today we discussed with the communities the current state of preparation for all possible scenarios.”

Military analyst Sean Bell said that the drone attacks which hit Moscow will cause “psychological damage” for the Russians which will “damage morale.”

Speaking on Sky News Bell said, Zelenskyy is “not allowed to use Western weapons to attack on Russian soil and they are the most capable weapons that could allow him to really do some damage.

“That is all driven by the West’s slight paranoia that will escalate the conflict.”

He added, “Privately, most of the West see that Zelenskyy is having to fight this with his hands tied behind his back – Russia can attack Ukrainian soil, but Ukraine can’t do the same [level of damage] in return.”
