Ukraine has sent an ominous threat to Moscow that they will liberate Crimea in any way that they “deem necessary” and warn they will not “ask anyone for permission.”

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said Crimea is a “our land” and warned Russians if they have “a little bit of intelligence” then they need “to get out” immediately.

Danilov told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty on Wednesday morning, “It’s hard for me to say whether they will give something away without a fight.

“All I can say is that, if necessary, we will release in such a way that we consider necessary at the time of making certain decisions.”

He then said, “if there is a need for us to use slightly different means there, they will certainly be used.”

“We are not going to ask anyone for permission about this. This is our land, and our task is to liberate it.”

The NSDC Secretary then commented on the recent explosions in Sevastopol which saw Ukraine launch a daring raid in a drone attack which blew up an enormous oil tank in the port city.

Danilov said, “…These signals are going accordingly.

“I think that people who have a little bit of intelligence have an understanding that they need to get out of the peninsula as soon as possible.”

The explosion sparked panic as thousands of Russian citizens in Crimea are fleeing and heading back to the Russian Federation.

Representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Cherniak said on Tuesday, “The Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry strongly recommends leaving the occupied Crimea while there is still such an option.”

Cherniak has said that once Russian forces are removed from the annexed peninsula they will then implement the “Crimean goodwill gesture,” meaning it is then recaptured.

However, Russia has made a significant and targeted effort to strengthen the northern border of Crimea which includes “a multi-layered defensive zone near the village of Medvedevka.”

Russia has dug “hundreds of miles of trenches well inside internationally recognised Russian territory, including in the Belgorod and Kursk regions” as they are preparing for Ukraine’s counteroffensive.
