said late Monday it has named Patrick Edwards its new chief financial officer, effective immediately. Edwards has served as the company’s chief accounting officer and secretary since 2021, the retailer said. Shoe Carnival said that it and Erik Gast, the outgoing CFO, “mutually agreed” that Gast would leave the company effective immediately to pursue other opportunities. Shares of Shoe Carnival were flat in the extended session after ending the regular trading day up 1%.
