Davis Tate has completed the acquisition of The Flatman Agency based in Reading, Berkshire.

This latest move marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and expands its services across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

The acquired portfolio comprises more than 160 residential properties, representing a well-established base of long-term tenancies.

Joe Lucas, sales director at Davis Tate Reading, said: “Reading is a vibrant and growing market, and this acquisition allows us to bring our award-winning service to a wider audience while continuing to support landlords with our proven expertise and customer-driven approach.”

Davis Tate operates six branches across Berkshire and Oxfordshire and are part of the Southern Homemove group. Southern Homemove are a franchise partner of LSL Estate Agency Franchising and also operate Goodfellows and Hawes & Co. estate agency brands, with offices across South West London and Surrey.

This purchase represents the first for Southern Homemove this year, with the LSL franchise partner actively exploring further acquisition opportunities.

Kate Ashley-Ives, franchise director, at LSL Estate Agency Franchising, commented: “I look forward to working with  the team at Southern Homemove to acquire further lettings agencies in the area as they look to continue their expansion.”
