Keir Starmer to hail Donald Trump’s effort to end Gaza war at peace summit

Sir Keir Starmer is faced with yet another hammer blow as more than 340,000 people have signed a petition demanding a general election within a month.

Starmer’s support has plummeted since Labour won the general election last July and the backlash from voters started when the government cut the winter fuel payments and the inheritance tax on farmers.

Nicola Cree who set up last months petition which says, “We want an immediate General Election to be held. We think the majority need and want change.

Since Jeremy Corbyn set his new political party this has made Starmer’s position as Prime Minister more untenable.

A source close to Corbyn told GB News, “At the last election, Starmer lost almost 20,000 votes amid a strong challenge by independent progressive Andrew Feinstein, who came second with 19 per cent of the vote.

“Next time around, with a longer campaign, more resourcing and Starmer’s colossal unpopularity, a big upset is more than possible.

Another Corbyn source added, “There is a huge appetite for real change and genuinely progressive politics in Holborn & St Pancras but decisions on target areas and wider strategy will be made following the party’s founding conference.”
