The Swedish government has provided Ukraine with the 13th military aid package amounting to $314 million.

This includes ammunition for air defense systems and combat vehicles, which the country has already transferred to Ukraine earlier, the Swedish government announced.

The Swedish government’s official website said on Tuesday, “The government has decided on a new support package for Ukraine.

“The support includes ammunition and spare parts for several equipment systems that Sweden donated to Ukraine earlier.”

Sweden will also be donating vehicles, rescue equipment and demining equipment, and the government are currently awaiting permission to sell the hunting robot RB 99 (AMRAAM) in the United States, for Ukraine.

“The total cost of the thirteenth support package is approximately SEK 3.4 billion. The support package also includes compensation to the Swedish Armed Forces, for example, transport and security costs,” the press service added.

German Finance Minister Christian Lindner has announced that his government will continue to support Ukraine, in particular military assistance, in their budget planning until 2027.

Lindner said at a joint press conference on Tuesday, with the Finance Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko, “For the next few years, we have already firmly planned further support for Ukraine in our budget planning.

“The government already agreed on this a few weeks ago, and I have no doubt that this will also be confirmed by our parliament in the coming months,”

He said that the planned €5 billion of military assistance is bilateral assistance, in addition, as Lindner added, Germany makes various financial contributions to the EU.

Germany also provides humanitarian support to Ukraine and Ukrainians fleeing the war to their country.

Linder added, “You know that Germany is the largest contributor to the European budget. We also have a correspondingly high share of the future financial assistance that the European Union has promised to Ukraine.

“In our state budget, we have allocated large funds for the military sector until 2027 so that Ukraine can continue to rely on our contributions in the coming years.”
