This year’s theme was Festival of Colour and was hosted by comedian and presenter, Matt Richardson, alongside fabulous entertainment from Bollywood choreographer Jay Kumar and Dance Asia, who made it a memorable night!

Guests heard inspirational speeches from Susanne Driffield, Regional Development Manager at Muscular Dystrophy UK, who’s son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Catherine Woodhead, Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Chief Executive. This was followed by the famous auctioneer Jonny Gould, who helped the charity raise £141,000 on the night.

The ball is the flagship fundraising event for Muscular Dystrophy UK, the charity for the more than 110,000 people living with a muscle wasting condition in the UK. The event raised an outstanding £432,000, which will help Muscular Dystrophy UK fund groundbreaking research and life changing support and change the future of muscle wasting conditions.
