Porsche is giving the Macan EV the GTS treatment for the first time. The 2026 Porsche Macan Electric GTS is the missing piece in the lineup, but it’s still fairly pricey.
Meet the 2026 Porsche Macan EV GTS
After introducing the 2026 Macan EV in August, Porsche promised the new model would take it “to a new level” for drivers and passengers.
It looks to be keeping its promise. Porsche launched the Macan EV GTS on Tuesday, the first time the electric SUV will be offered in this exclusive variant.
The GTS trim looks to fill the performance and price gap between the 4S and Turbo in the Macan lineup. Drawing power from a dual motor powertrain, the GTS packs up to 509 horsepower (380 kW). It shares the same rear electric motor as the Macan Turbo, the largest and most powerful of the lineup.
When using Launch Control, it delivers up to 563 hp (420 kW) and 704 lb-ft of torque All that power enables a 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 3.6 seconds and a quarter mile in 12 seconds.

Like the Turbo, the output is enabled by a 900-amp pulse inverter made with silicon carbide (SiC) transistors. Like the Turbo model, the transmission features a 9.0 to 1 ratio to unlock higher performance.
Prices, performance, and more
Porsche said the new variant can recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 21 minutes with charging speeds up to 270 kW.
The Macan GTS wears the Sport Chrono Package as standard and includes Track Endurance Mode, which was first introduced on the Taycan. When activated, the mode cools down the battery to delay potential lower power output due to battery heat. Porsche claims it makes “a noticeable increase in duration of high-performance driving.”

Porsche fine-tuned the suspension with “GTS-specific calibration” to deliver that authentic sports car-like feel. The GTS model has the lowest center of gravity of the Macan range and intelligent power distribution.
In addition to its all-wheel drive (AWD) system, Porsche slapped its Torque Vectoring Plus on the GTS as standard. The system uses an electronically controlled, limited-slip differential for the rear axle to optimize control and agility.

Porsche upgraded the suspension with load-leveling and Active Suspension Management. It also offers optional rear-axle steering, which offers “the potential to increase performance further.”
Like other Porsche GTS models, the Macan EV features black accents on the front, side, and rear. It also includes tinted LED Matrix Design headlights and more.

Porsche will introduce a Sport Design Package for the entire Macan lineup based on the standard features offered on the GTS trim.
The GTS brings three new colors: Chalk, Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue, which can be ordered for the first time on a Macan.
Inside, the new variant is fitted with Race-Tex upholstery and black leather elements. A new option, the GTS interior package, offers contrasting stitching on the seats, steering wheel, door panels, and upper dash to match the exterior color design.
