It is that time of year again when The Sunday Times reveals its ‘Best Place to Live in the UK’, which provides a great marketing hook for estate agent letting agents operating in the areas selected, not to mention the potential to drive up demand for housing on a regional level.
Last year, the East Sussex town of Wadhurst was named the best place to live in the UK by The Sunday Times, heading a list of 72 locations.
With a population of less than 5,000, Wadhurst was by far the smallest overall winner in the 11-year history of the Best Places to Live guide.
Regional winners also included, Chichester in West Sussex, Crouch End in London, Cirncester in Gloucestershire, Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, Whitley Bay in northeast, Liverpool in the northwest, Saffron Walden in Essex, Dunkeld in Scotland, Ruthin, Denbighshire in Wales, and Donaghadee in Northern Ireland.
This year’s list will be revealed here today at 8am when they are officially announced.
