wo people and a gunman were injured in a shooting at a summer carnival in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on Saturday.
Police said one of the victims was taken to hospital, alongside the gunman who was shot by police several times.
Both were arrested.
Video posted online appeared to show some members of the public running away from the scene at Zomercarnaval, one of Europe’s largest street parties.
Police said a woman was injured in a fall while getting away from the incident on the central street of Coolsingel at around 8.45pm.
Shortly afterwards, officers arrested a third person, who they said was suspected of involvement.
Police said an earlier shooting at Coolsingel did not appear to be connected but the possibility is being explored as part of the investigation.
