The transfer window is just one day old and, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are wasting no time in the market. The Gunners are still hoping to seal a deal to sign Declan Rice, but have had an initial bid rejected and now face competition from Manchester City. A second bid worth £100m is now imminent. Arsenal are also keen on Kai Havertz.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are in talks to sign striker Nicolas Jackson and are leading the race for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. Dusan Vlahovic is another target, along with Victor Osimhen. They are fielding interest too in a number of their players and have rejected Manchester United’s opening offer of £40m for Mason Mount and are braced for another.

United are in a battle with Bayern Munich to sign Napoli defender Kim min-Jae, and have given up on Harry Kane. Another huge Chelsea boost in Moises Caicedo push

Moises Caicedo will not sign for Bayern Munich.

German journalist Florian Plettersburg has revealed a communication from Caicedo’s camp, informing them that he wants to stay in the Premier League.

Chelsea’s path is clearing for the Brighton midfielder, who it was earlier revealed is not a priority for Arsenal.

Manchester United are thought to be their main contenders now.

Breaking! Tottenham confirm trio’s exits

Arnaut Danjuma, Lucas Moura and Clement Lenglet will leave Tottenham in the summer – as confirmed with the club’s retained list that has just dropped.

Academy players Jamie Bowden, Kallum Cesay, Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Roshaun Mathurin, Marqes Muir and Romaine Mundle are also departing.

Thomas Bloxham, Brandon Bryan-Waugh and Riley Owen will also leave at the end of the month with the conclusion of their scholarships.

Inter begin pursuit of Arsenal ace

Inter Milan sporting director Pier Ausilio this evening returned from transfer talks in England.

An appointment with Chelsea featured on his diary, where Standard Sport understand a loan bid for Kalidou Koulibaly and Romelu Lukaku was rejected.

Furthermore, La Gazzetta dello Sport name Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun as on Inter’s radar.

The American youngster would reportedly cost around £35m.

Arsenal’s second bid for Declan Rice revealed

Arsenal will up their bid for Declan Rice by £10million when it lands imminently.

Both Sky Sports and the Mail are tonight saying an offer is coming after a £90m proposal was today turned down.

That was made up of an initial £80m, spread over a number of years, plus £10m in add-ons.

The second bid will reportedly feature £90m as a guaranteed fee with, once again, £10m in add-ons.

Arsenal launch official Samuel Chukwueze enquiry

A new name on Arsenal’s transfer radar.

Tuttosport have revealed an enquiry in Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze in their bid to spruce up their attacking options.

AC Milan are also tracking the Nigerian with a bid as low as £20m potentially enough, given his contract expires in 12 months’ time.

Chelsea earn huge Moises Caicedo boost

Chelsea are the new favourites to sign Moises Caicedo.

According to The Times, Arsenal are not focused on signing the Brighton midfielder with all their efforts going onto a deal for Declan Rice.

Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea are frontrunners yet reports have emerged that Bayern Munich will make a bid having pulled out of the Rice race.

Manchester United are also keen for Caicedo, who would cost in the region of £80m.

The Telegraph say Chelsea will offer players as makeweights to get a deal done.

Kylian Mbappe responds to shock PSG decision

Kylian Mbappe has made clear that he intends to play for PSG in the upcoming season.

The French forward sent a letter to the club informing them of his plan to not take up a contract option when his deal expires in 12 months’ time, sparking the club into panic.

Real Madrid are thought to lead the way in his potential exit this summer – although that’s not on Mbappe’s mind.

“Honestly I did not think I was going to offend anyone,” he told reporters.

“I only sent a letter.

“I didn’t know a letter could kill someone. It’s just a letter. I don’t care about the reactions.”

Chelsea set to offer Levi Colwill new deal

As Brighton refuse to end their interest in Levi Colwill, Chelsea are planning to offer the defender a new contract.

That is according to the Telegraph’s Matt Law, who reports on the Blues being adamant that the England youth international will play a big role under Mauricio Pochettino.

Standard Sport recently reported that a second bid worth £40m is set to land from Brighton after Chelsea rebuffed a £30m approach.

Despite Spurs denying talk of a £50million combined bid, Sky Sports report on the north Londoners chasing Harvey Barnes and James Maddison.

Their interest in the Leicester duo is said to be “strong”.
