The summer transfer window is well and truly hotting up with deals and bids landing left, right and centre for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham. The Gunners are fighting Manchester City for Declan Rice and are now said to have submitted a mammoth third offer for the West Ham captain worth a cool £105million in total.

Jurrien Timber is another player Arsenal are bidding for while Chelsea are pushing to land Moises Caicedo, with Nicolas Jackson’s deal in the bag and an announcement imminent. Kai Havertz’s switch from Chelsea to Arsenal is also not far off after he completed a medical over the weekend, while the Blues are keen on Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri and a shock swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic with Mateo Kovacic now officially a Man City player.

Elsewhere, Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Guglielmo Vicario and a fee for James Maddison is now reportedly agreed with Leicester. Manchester United may be out of the race for Harry Kane but Bayern Munich remain very interested, with Kane now keen on a move to Germany. United, meanwhile, will not up their offer to Chelsea for Mason Mount as Liverpool eye a huge deal for Federico Valverde. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal submit huge £105m Declan Rice bid

It’s all going on late tonight with Arsenal’s third bid for Declan Rice now understood to have been made.

And it’s a big one, with The Athletic’s David Ornstein reporting the proposal to be worth a cool £100m up front plus a further £5m in add-ons.

It’s a change in tack from Arsenal, who seem to be done with their policy of incremental increases in search of a deal and have now seemingly met West Ham’s huge asking price for their talismanic captain.

Will it be enough to see off Manchester City and finally win the race for their top summer target?

Maddison to Tottenham deal set for completion

Tottenham could have a full agreement in place for James Maddison as soon as tomorrow.

That is according to CBS Sports, who say that Spurs are very confident of getting a deal over the line now.

Ben Jacobs says all that is left to sort with Leicester is the add-ons, with an agreement “really close”.

Get excited, Tottenham fans! This one definitely looks like it’s happening.

Tottenham agree James Maddison deal

Tottenham are said to have now agreed a deal for James Maddison.

Spurs have ramped up their push to sign the England playmaker from relegated Leicester this week.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the north Londoners now have a verbal agreement in place over an initial £40m fee, with everything set to be sealed after final negotiations over the add-ons and exact payment structure.

He says Tottenham and Maddison already have a full agreement over personal terms, with a medical to take place soon.

Ten Hag uncertainty ‘caused De Gea contract U-turn’

David de Gea’s future has once again made headline news today.

Reports earlier claimed that the Spaniard had agreed a contract extension on hugely reduced wages, only for United to withdraw and present a new offer that dropped his £375,000-per-week salary further still and has yet to be signed.

According to the latest reports from the Daily Mail, it is Erik ten Hag’s own uncertainty over De Gea that has led to such a dramatic U-turn at Old Trafford.

Many expect the 32-year-old to rebuff United’s latest offer and leave the club on a free transfer, with the club’s option to trigger an automatic one-year extension until 2024 having now expired.

United seem to have pinpointed Inter Milan’s Andre Onana as their preferred new No1, amid other links to Porto’s Diogo Costa, Brentford’s David Raya and Anderlecht’s Bart Verbruggen.

Chelsea in talks with AC Milan over Christian Pulisic

Chelsea and AC Milan are said to be continuing negotiations over Christian Pulisic.

The Rossoneri look set to benefit from their Premier League counterparts’ summer transfer exodus, with a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek set to be made official.

Milan also want Pulisic, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that talks are ongoing separate to the discussions over Loftus-Cheek.

He says the Serie A giants will pay less than Chelsea’s €25m asking price for the United States forward, with no agreement found yet.

Arsenal send new Declan Rice message to West Ham

Arsenal are moving ahead with plans to make their third offer for Declan Rice.

The Gunners have been pressed into action after Manchester City finally tabled their first formal bid for the West Ham captain last night.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have now “communicated their intention” to make a third bid for Rice that will take them closer to the Hammers’ £100m valuation, essentially making a verbal offer after their last official bid of £75m plus £15m in add-ons was rebuffed.

West Ham are said to have rejected City’s opening Rice proposal that was worth £80m up front plus a further £10m in add-ons.

Guglielmo Vicario hails ‘dream’ Tottenham transfer

Guglielmo Vicario has hailed his “dream” transfer to Tottenham, revealing an exciting message from Ange Postecoglou that helped to seal the deal.

The Italian goalkeeper, 26, is the first fresh arrival at Spurs since the appointment of their new manager earlier this month, following familiar face Dejan Kulusevski completing a permanent move after an 18-month spell on loan from Juventus.

Tottenham spent £17million to sign the player from Empoli, where Vicario had impressed and earned his first senior call-up to Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad, having previously played for the likes of Udinese, Cagliari and Perugia.

In his first words since heading to north London, Vicario described the move as a dream come true as he pledged to adapt quickly to life in the Premier League.

“Yes, I’m excited,” he told SPURSPLAY. “It’s a dream for me to be here, one of the biggest teams in England and in the Premier League. I’d like to start quickly, to join my team-mates because, for me, it’s a big pleasure to be here.”

How Arsenal could line up with Kai Havertz

The signing of Kai Havertz will allow Arsenal to revamp their midfield, writes Simon Collings.

Havertz has been described as “versatile” by manager Mikel Arteta and the imminent £65million signing from Chelsea can operate anywhere across the front three.

But there is also a belief that he can play in midfield and fill the left No8 spot, which Granit Xhaka operated in this season.

Havertz failed to shine at Chelsea as he struggled to find a position that suited him, with the 24-year-old often used as a central striker.

Arsenal believe he could shine in midfield alongside captain Martin Odegaard, who would play as the other No8, and Declan Rice, who would sit in front of the back four.

Real Madrid ready to accept Liverpool bid for Valverde

Could Federico Valverde be on his way to Liverpool this summer?

The Reds are looking to continue their long overdue midfield rebuild, having moved early to clinch the bargain signing of Argentine World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton.

But Jurgen Klopp isn’t stopping there, with several other top midfield names linked with moves to Anfield.

According to El Nacional in Uruguay, Real Madrid are ready to accept a bid worth €90m for Valverde from Liverpool, whom they beat to the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

What a transfer that would be!

Mateo Kovacic bids emotional farewell to Chelsea fans

Mateo Kovacic has penned an emotional farewell message to Chelsea fans after officially completing his move to Manchester City.

A deal worth an initial £25million plus a further £5m in add-ons that sees the Croatian midfielder swap Stamford Bridge for the Etihad Stadium was finally confirmed on Tuesday evening.

Kovacic forms part of a major summer exodus at Chelsea, where he was entering the final 12 months of his contract and had not agreed an extension.

The Blues are poised to offload several players including the likes of Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech, with Kalidou Koulibaly already gone and N’Golo Kante set to follow him to Saudi Arabia.
