It is a busy period in the transfer window for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, with with deals for Kai Havertz, Nicolas Jackson and Guglielmo Vicario nearing the finish line. The likes of Declan Rice, Victor Osimhen, Moises Caicedo and Mason Mount are also very much up for grabs with still over two months to go in the market.
Mikel Arteta is desperate to sign Rice and a third bid is expected amid £100million competition from Manchester City, though they have now been linked with Youssouf Fofana as an alternative option. Havertz reportedly underwent his medical on the weekend and could be announced soon, while there is confidence that a deal for Jurrien Timber will also be done.
Over at Chelsea, Jackson should be named as their new striker imminently and a £130m push to land Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is reportedly underway. They are due to battle Manchester United for Brighton’s Caicedo, as a result of their refusal to allow Mount to leave for Old Trafford for £55m. United want Andre Onana, while Spurs are close to announcing goalkeeper Vicario and Juventus defender Bremer is also a target. Bayern eye Kane move?
Bayern Munich have reportedly been encouraged in their pursuit of Harry Kane.
With Manchester United moving on from the Spurs striker, after it became clear Daniel Levy had no desire to sell to a Premier League, it had been assumed that Kane would stay in north London for another season.
However, Sky Germany claim that Kane has told Bayern that they are his preferred club, with the Bundesliga giants now preparing their next move as they look to sign the 29-year-old for less than €100m.
PSG send Mbappe contract warning
PSG have told Kylian Mbappe to renew his contract or leave the club this summer.
The Frenchman has made it clear that he has no intention of extending his current deal, but insists he wants to stay at PSG for another season. That would then likely see him leave as a free agent in a year’s time.
However, Le Parisien report that PSG have warned Mbappe they will not let that happen, telling him he will be sold this summer unless he swiftly agrees a new deal.
Pulisic on the move?
Christian Pulisic could leave Chelsea this summer, with AC Milan reportedly keen on bringing him to Italy.
Milan are already pushing to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Gianluca Di Marzio claims that they are interested in making a move for Pulisic too.
Speaking recently while on international duty, the American made it clear he was looking to leave Stamford Bridge.
“It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.”
Van de Ven responds to rumours
Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven has addressed transfer links with Tottenham for the first time.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Bundesliga side, prompting reported interest from across Europe including both Spurs and Liverpool.
Van de Ven, who is a left-sided defender, is currently with Netherlands’ Under-21 side at the summer Euros and was on Sunday asked directly about interest from Spurs.
“I have been forwarded it,” the Wolfsburg man told Voetbal International. “I have seen it.
“[Interest] goes through my agent now. If serious things come up, he will call me.”

PSG have Osimhen bid rejected
Chelsea, Liverpool… and now PSG. Plenty of interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that PSG have had an opening offer of €100m rejected, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis unsurprisingly relucant to sell.
It’s reported that he wants €200m for Osimhen – the price seems to be going up by the hour.
Arsenal set Balogun price tag
Arsenal will demand £50m if they are to sell Folarin Balogun this summer.
That’s according to Sky Sports, with it reported that talks have taken place between the club and Balogun’s representatives.
It’s believed that the striker favours a move away from Arsenal, as he does not feel he will get the first-team opportunities he wants in north London.
Man United close in on Onana
Manchester United are making progress in their attempts to sign Andre Onana.
A goalkeeper signing is high on Erik ten Hag’s wishlist this summer, with David de Gea out of contract in a few days and his future remaining uncertain.
Sport Mediaset report that United are close to agreeing a €50m deal with Inter for Onana, with the Italian side set to put that money towards signing Romelu Lukaku. Hugo Lloris or Keylor Navas could be cheap replacements in goal.
Casadei outlines Chelsea ambition
Cesare Casadei wants to prove his worth to Mauricio Pochettino and earn a first-team role at Chelsea next season.
The Italian youngster earned rave reviews as he scooped both the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards at the recent Under-20 World Cup, which came after his senior bow during a loan spell at Reading.
“I’ve just finished the season and I want to disconnect from football for a few days,” he told Italy’s Sportsweek. “Afterwards, it will depend on the options that are on the table and my decisions but I have a five-year contract with Chelsea.
“I’ve embarked on a journey that isn’t a short-term mission. The club is investing in young players and I aim to be part of its project.
“My ambition is to wear the shirt and play in the Premier League, which is currently the number one league in the world.”
Chelsea clearout continues
Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s potential move to AC Milan would earn Chelsea an estimated £15m, writes Nizaar Kinsella.
It could take player sales beyond £150m if Havertz, Kovacic, Ziyech and Mendy go through, on top of Koulibaly’s move to Saudi Arabia.
Man United have no plans for Mount talks
Manchester United do not intend to meet with Chelsea to discuss a deal for Mason Mount.
Their third bid for the midfielder, of £50m plus £5m in add-ons, was rejected, with the Blues wanting £58m and £7m in add-ons and offering to meet in person to come to an agreement.
Sky Sports report that United do not feel there is a need to do so, as they currently have no plans to improve their offer.
