The transfer window is in full swing with all of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all closing in on summer deals. The Gunners continue to chase Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber as Mikel Arteta aims to go again in the Premier League title race.

Despite Manchester City’s interest in Rice, there is reportedly fresh hope that the Gunners will soon be able to sign the West Ham captain. The story at Chelsea, however, is different, albeit Nicolas Jackson is soon to sign amid suggestions Diogo Costa could also be on his way, while Moises Caicedo remains a top midfield target.

Mason Mount has been the subject of offers from Manchester United but remain unable to agree a fee with the Blues, who could have inadvertently put them on the path to sign Caicedo as an alternative. Elsewhere, Tottenham have booked a medical for incoming goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as they continue to pursue James Maddison. Kulusevski backs Kane to stay

Harry Kane’s future is once again the subject of much debate this summer, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG all linked.

He has just one year left on his contract and clubs are hoping to secure a cut-price deal, but Spurs are not playing ball.

Arteta on Rice and Havertz

Mikel Arteta has spoken for the first time about Arsenal’s transfer window pursuits of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.

Bayern turn to De Jong

Bayern Munich will turn to Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong after giving up on Declan Rice.

According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is desperate to add a huge midfield name to his squad this summer and is ready to go big for the former Manchester United target.

Bayern hope that Gundogan joining Barca could see De Jong pushed towards the exit – but that does not appear the case.

Another snub for Tuchel incoming?

Arsenal handed surprise Simons boost?

This is interesting.

PSV Eindhoven wonderkid has switched agents and is now represented by Darren Dein, the son of former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein.

Most of Europe want to sign the youngster and Dutch football journalist Jeroen Kapteijns believes linking up with Dein is a sign 20-year-old wants a Premier League move.

Kapteijns said on De Telegraaf’s Kick-off podcast: “Surely the fact that Xavi chooses an Englishman indicates that he has ears for a departure to the Premier League, it seems to me.

“There, this Darren Dein has great access and especially at Arsenal, given his background.”
