A senior Donald Trump advisor has warned that Britons do not have “free speech” in the UK and praised GB News for publishing the “truth” she then warned “that can be a dangerous thing.”

Speaking to Ben Leo on GB News’ flagship US programme, The Late Show Live, Kari Lake said, “You don’t have free speech [in UK] right now.”

Lake added, “The truth is a dangerous thing when you’re up against an enemy who doesn’t want it out.

“I know the President and Vice President have spoken about it… We need to demand free speech for our friends in Great Britain.”

She slammed how the UK is policing social media, Lake said, “People should not be getting locked up for Facebook posts.”

The Times reported that some 12,000 Brits are being arrested by the Twitter and thought police a year for breaching the so-called Communication Act 2003 and the Malicious Communications Act 1988.

These laws are in place for people who are committing “grossly offensive” messages, but the British police are being constantly accused of go to far, leaving many people calling the police “muppets.”

“We have a President who actually cares about our borders and our sovereignty as a country and cares about the citizens,” Lake said.

“And I hate to say it, but I don’t think that is the case where you are.”

She slammed Sir Keir Starmer over his failed approach for migration comparing him to the former US President Joe Biden and hit out at the Prime Minister over his “excuses.”

Lake told GB News, “If those excuses continue, England will cease to be England and many people have already said that it is gone.

“It just would be a terrible thing to watch the fall of Great Britain, of England.

“I don’t know what your future looks like, but I know that the leaders there have not shown the courage or the backbone needed to protect their citizens.”
