The US President Donald Trump has said that Vladimir Putin has made a “very big concession” by not taking all of Ukraine.

Trump said during a meeting in the Oval Office with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store that Putin’s inability to rake all of Ukraine demonstrates the pressure in Moscow.

Trump said “Stopping the war, stopping [from] taking the whole country,” as Putin failed in his goals to capture all of Ukraine.

Trump was asked what is expecting from Putin to show his concessions, the US President said, “I’m putting a lot of pressure. You don’t know what pressure I’m putting.

“They’re dealing. You have no idea what pressure I’m putting on Russia. We’re putting a lot of pressure … and Russia knows that and some people who are close to it know or he wouldn’t be talking right now.”

Trump then made a shocking claim that Moscow failing to end Ukraine’s existence must be seen as a generosity, using a similar narrative heard previously by the Kremlin.
