The US President has changed his tone towards Vladimir Putin as he is “disrespecting him by consistently breaking the ceasefire.”

Over the months the British Prime Minister and the French President has applied diplomatic pressure on the US President, Politico reported.

The British Defence Secretary John Healey and the British National Security Advisor Jonathan played their diplomatic roles by working closely with the US Ambassador to the UK, Mark Burnett.

Donald Trump and Sir Keir Starmer have held nearly 13 direct conversations this year to discuss Russia’s ongoing attacks on Ukraine breaking ceasefires.

A former British Ambassador said that the UK and France made it clear to the US President that the Russian despot is “disrespecting him by consistently breaking the ceasefire he claimed to be implementing,” the Kyiv Independent reported.

Kremlin warns ‘millions’ of Russians ready to ‘stand up at any moment’ to mobilise for war

On 16 April the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said that the Kremlin has violated the agreed partial ceasefires over 30 times.

This week Senator John Kennedy has issued a warning to Russia that the US is ready to turn the country into “fish food” and is calling for further pressure on Moscow.

Fox News reported that the Kremlin has always “reneged” on their promises and Kenedy criticised Vladimir Putin over his actions against Ukraine.

Kenedy said, “Putin has reneged on every promise that he has made to President Trump. His latest proposal is, well, nothing. He wants to keep all the territory that he’s taken.”

He slammed Putin for disrespecting the US President and warned that America “are willing to turn him [Putin] and his country [Russia] into fish food.”

On Saturday the US President blasted that Putin is “tapping” him and that he does not want peace in Ukraine as Russia continues to hit civilians with missiles.

Kennedy insisted, “We’ve got to make Putin understand that there is a price to be paid for his jacking our President around.”

Last Thursday Trump furiously hit out at Putin as a cruise missile and drones in an attack that killed eight civilians and injuring more than 77.

Trump wrote on his social media account Truth Social, “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. Not necessary, and very bad timing.”

He added, “Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”
