The US President has expressed his disappointment with Vladimir Putin and has said he will send “more weapons” to Ukraine as they are “getting hit very hard” by Russian attacks.

In recent weeks Russia has started to hit the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv harder and most nights more than 500 ballistic missiles and drones are deliberately targeting civilian areas.

Trump said from the White House, “We’re gonna send some more weapons we have to them, they have to be able to defend themselves, they’re getting hit very hard now.”

Washington had previously stopped all military aid shipments to Ukraine but Donald Trump had denied the claim.

On Monday the US President said he not happy with Putin as he refuses to cooperate to end the war.

Trump said, “It’s a horrible thing, and I’m not happy with President Putin at all.

I’m disappointed frankly that President Putin hasn’t stopped.”

“They’re getting hit very hard. We’re gonna have to send more weapons, your defensive weapons primarily, but they’re getting hit very, very hard. So many people are dying in that mess,” Trump said.

On Monday the Pentagon said in a statement, “At President Trump’s direction, the Department of Defense is sending additional defensive weapons to Ukraine to ensure the Ukrainians can defend themselves while we work to secure a lasting peace and ensure the killing stops.

“Our framework for POTUS to evaluate military shipments across the globe remains in effect and is integral to our America First defense priorities.”

Last week Trump warned that Vladimir Putin is “not looking to stop” the war in Ukraine, as previously reported the Russia dictator believes he is winning and wants all of the country to become part of the Russian Federation.

Donald Trump said he held a “disappointing” telephone call with Putin, the US President revealed there is no progress to stop the war.

Trump said, “I’m disappointed with the conversation I had today with President Putin, I don’t think he’s there. I don’t think he’s looking to stop.”

The US President that this is “Biden’s war” and Trump claims the conflict “wouldn’t have happened if I was president.”

Last month Putin said that all of Ukraine belongs to Russia and has suggested that he could order a nuclear attack on the country.

Putin said they could create a “security zone” and told attendees at the St. Petersburg economic forum there is an old saying in Russia, “Wherever a Russian soldier sets foot, that is ours.”

Putin said that Ukrainians and Russians are “one people” and in “that sense, all of Ukraine is ours.”

The Russian dictator added, “There is a saying: wherever a Russian soldier sets foot, that is ours,” The Sun reported.
