Kyiv has been warned to prepare for a “large-scale attack” across Ukraine by Russian aviation forces as an expert has revealed there could be a massive aerial assault.

Speaking to RBC-Ukraine, aviation expert Kostiantyn Kryvolap said that nuclear capable bombers are equipped ready with Kh-22 missiles and Kinzhal missiles.

He said, “Kh-101-equipped aircraft are ready, Tu-22s with Kh-22 missiles fly regularly. As for ‘Kinzhal’ missiles, there are definitely three planes equipped.

“There haven’t been major reports about ‘Kalibr’ missile carriers at sea, but they could be prepared within a day.

“The Iskander missiles are constantly being moved around, posing a threat as they’re regularly fired from Crimea at Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson.”

The missiles are ready to be used for a massive attack which will happen when Vladimir Putin decides.

“However, that doesn’t mean we should expect it every night. It’s more about staying alert and knowing how to protect yourself,” the expert added.

He warned of possible targets for the Russian “large-scale attack,” he said, “I think they won’t hit nuclear energy facilities, but substations and distribution centers are likely targets,” RBC-Ukraine reports.
