The Russian Defence Ministry said that last month they held tactical nuclear drills with ally Belarus and today they used Yars missile launcher crews where they practiced camouflage concealment and deployment.

The commander said, “I regret that we are gradually losing territory,” he added, but “we cannot hold what is ruined.”

Last year Russian forces captured Bakhmut after a bloody 10 month battler, which is close to Chasiv Yar and there has been a rapid increase in in strikes on the front.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that their forces are conducting nuclear drills and Putin could be doing this to create fear and uncertainty in the region.

A senior Ukrainian official warned last month that Putin may well launch a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine if he thinks he is going to lose the war.

Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, suggested that Putin could end up using a tactical nuclear weapon, most likely on Kyiv.

During an interview with The Times Lytvynenko believes that the Russian despot would use such a weapon as “Russia is on the verge of a catastrophic defeat.”

He was asked in what circumstances does he believe Putin would use a nuclear weapon, he gave a grim warning saying, “We cannot rule out anything if Russia is on the verge of catastrophic defeat.”
