After 30 days of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip more than 10,000 people have been confirmed as dead and 4,104 children have been killed.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and other UN agency leaders have said “enough is enough and they are demanding “an immediate humanitarian ceasefire.”
Over night hundreds of Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes as fighter jets targeted around 450 targets in Gaza.

Israel is refusing a ceasefire and the US and the UK supports this decision and Tel Aviv want the hostages taken on 7 October to be released first.
The 18 signatories include the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk, the head of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and UN aid chief Martin Griffiths, said in a joint statement, “An entire population is besieged and under attack, denied access to the essentials for survival, bombed in their homes, shelters, hospitals and places of worship.
“This is unacceptable.
“We need an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. It’s been 30 days.
“Enough is enough. This must stop now.”
The Health Ministry in Gaza have said in an update that 10,022 Palestinians have been killed which includes 4,104 children since 7 October.
Overnight the strikes be air, land and sea were described by a Reuters journalist as the most intense since the war started.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) said on Monday that they hit “tunnels, terrorists, military compounds, observation posts, and anti-tank missile launch posts.”
Several Hamas fighters were killed by Israeli ground forces at a compound which contained observation posts and underground tunnels.
