Channel 4’s new property show, Selling Super Houses, aired last night, with eight hopefuls competing for a job as an estate agent.
The aspiring estate agents are hoping to secure what is described as ‘job of a lifetime’, showcasing and selling super prime properties for Paul Kemsley, who takes on the Lord Sugar (The Apprentice) role, at his exclusive independent agency.
Kemsley in the show tells the contestants that “he wants everyone to win” because “if they make money, he makes money”.
In their first challenge, the hopefuls hosted an open house event at one of the agency’s most exclusive properties, worth £20m. Who rose to the challenge, and did any of them secure a sale? You can catch up on All 4.
It is revealed in a preview for the next episode that the second task will involve hosting a house tour of Boy George’s Gothic Hampstead mansion, with the musician himself on hand to do the judging.
