Wawa, the biggest Tesla Supercharger host, has joined Tesla’s Supercharger for Business program and launched its first self-branded site.

Wawa and Tesla began working together over a decade ago, and the popular convenience store chain already has 223 sites with Tesla Superchargers, featuring a whopping 2,115 stalls. And now, its first site with Wawa-owned and branded Superchargers is online in Alachua, Florida, northwest of Gainesville.

Max de Zegher, Tesla’s director of charging North America posted about it Saturday on Twitter/X:

I first met Wawa leadership back in 2015. I took them for a drive in a Model S P85+ at their headquarters in Pennsylvania. The touchscreen and acceleration showed them how exciting EVs can be, and why they were the future. Conversations were kind, direct, and fun.

Tesla provides full-service installation and manages fast chargers under the Supercharger for Business program. The Wawa-owned Alachua Supercharger site features 16 325 kW stalls. Wawa sets the charging rate, which is $0.37/kWh.

Wawa hasn’t yet shared how many self-owned Supercharger sites it plans to open, but it operates over 1,200 stores across 14 states and Washington, DC, so there’s significant potential.

Tesla’s Supercharger for Business program launched at the end of November 2025.
