Edward Rose Property Group has strengthened its presence in the South West with the acquisition of Harmony Property Rentals’ managed portfolio of 150 properties. The deal represents the second major expansion for Your Move Torquay, following the purchase of Team 2 last year and the successful rebrand to Your Move.
This latest strategic move sees Harmony’s portfolio integrated into the existing Your Move Torquay operations, following the acquisition from Anthony Cassidy. As part of its continued growth, the branch is also preparing to relocate to a new central Torquay office on Torwood Street and will soon be launching a residential sales division.
With the addition of the Harmony portfolio, Your Move Torquay now manages properties for over 640 landlords.
Edward Rose Property Group’s owner, David Vertannes, said: “We are delighted to acquire Harmony Property Rentals, it has been a very smooth process and a pleasure to work with their owner Anthony on this. We pride ourselves on delivering first-class service for our landlords and tenants and we look forward to providing a great service to these new landlords.”
“It is a busy and exciting time at Your Move Torquay with this acquisition following the success of the Team 2 purchase last year. We will also be relocating within Torquay this October to Torwood Street which is only a stone’s throw from the busy Marina as well as launching residential sales, offering sellers in Torquay a customer first selling service”.
“The support from LSL Estate Agency Franchise throughout the acquisitions has been exceptional. Their guidance from operational and transactional through to financial and marketing has once again been first class.”
Kate Ashley-Ives, franchise director at LSL Estate Agency Franchise, added: “This latest expansion highlights the great customer service and work they are consistently delivering to landlords in the area. This third acquisition in the past 12 months marks a really exciting opportunity for David and his team alongside the Torquay branch relocation”.
