CJ Hole, part of The Property Franchise Group, has completed the acquisition of an independent agency in Bristol.

The purchase of Attwoods Sales and Letting Agents is the fourth in recent years by CJ Hole owner Chris Hill – taking his combined managed portfolio beyond 2,000 properties.

Hill, who is the franchisee at CJHole’s branches in Bishopston, Bradley Stoke, Clifton, Downend, Henleaze, Kingswood, Redfield, Westbury-on-Trym, and Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, is delighted to have got the deal over the line.

“We’re proud to be taking over such a reputable business, set up and run by Lisa and Shannon for more than a decade.”

Attwoods’ founder and owner Lisa Attwood is set to take retirement after more than 25 years in the property sector, while her daughter and fellow director Shannon Attwood will join CJ Hole Kingswood as a lettings manager.

Hill added: “With Lisa taking a well-earned retirement, the CJ Hole team in Kingswood will continue to oversee Attwoods’ clients, with Shannon joining the team as an experienced lettings manager.

“This acquisition, coupled with organic growth and team expansion, means CJ Hole continues to uphold its reputation as Bristol’s leading sales and letting agent.”

Hill is one of CJ Hole’s most successful and long-standing franchisees, having purchased his first branch 26 years ago in 1996.

CJ Hole MD Rob Smith added: “Chris’s enthusiasm and passion for his businesses is inspiring and I’m delighted that he’s been able to grow the branch in Kingswood further through this acquisition.

“I know Attwoods’ clients will benefit hugely from being part of CJ Hole moving forwards and this is an exciting time for Chris with more acquisitions coming up in the near future.”
