It’s hard to believe now, but he simply continued the interview, was courteous if cold, and even asked if I had enough material for my article. I said that I had more than enough, thank you very much. There was a polite goodbye, the interview ran in the next edition of the magazine, and while there was a good amount of shock and outrage, nothing really happened.
