LSL Estate Agency Franchising (LSL EAF) has completed the sale of the Your Move Ian McCarthy franchise to local agents Reece Brant and Robert Foster.

The pair have taken over the Sutton-on-Sea branch from Ian McCarthy, who stepped down following his retirement. Under the new ownership, the branch will operate as Your Move.

The decision by Reece and Robert to move forward with the franchising route was simple, they said: “We to ensure the estate agency remains local at heart and will benefit from the brand strength, systems and standards of a national brand such as Your Move.

“We want to continue delivering the first-class service that Ian has for decades and serve our local community where we have lived and worked for many years. We pride ourselves on offering honest and genuine advice for our customers, and we tailor our approach to each individual client’s needs”.

Existing branch team member, Sarah Fox, will remain throughout the transition, alongside new expertise in Emily Brant as recruited by the Your Move Sutton-on-Sea.

The resales programme helps existing franchise partners at LSL Estate Agency Franchising find buyers for their business when they are looking to move on. This is an immense success for the LSL Estate Agency Franchising re-sales programme as it’s always rewarding to find a successor within the existing branch team.

Your Move franchising partnerships director, Lee Carratt, commented “It is great to see Reece and Robert take ownership of the Your Move Sutton-on-Sea branch. The re-sales programme is an initiative designed to provide accessibility and further opportunities to take up franchise ownership with LSL as well as enable existing franchise partners to find a trusted seller.

“I would like to wish Reece, Robert and their team Your Move Sutton-on-Sea the best of success, and I look forward to working with them again in future. “

Your Move Sutton-on-Sea plan to eventually introduce a lettings arm to the agency when the right opportunity is presented.
