AFTER getting tired of watching people do their laundry wrong all the time, one man took it upon himself to correct their mistakes.
Taking to his social media account, Dag Larsen first gave viewers a list of topics he would be covering in the video, including laundry, washing dishes, keeping shoes clean, what not to put in the fridge and preventing pilling.

“Let’s start with some laundry tips since most of you don’t have a damn clue what you’re doing,” he said, holding up a plastic bag with detergent pods in them.
He then reassured people that he doesn’t judge them but their parents, who “should’ve taught you” all of this.
Dag continued: “Anyways, if you’re using these detergent pods – rule is you always put these underneath the clothes, you don’t put them on top.”
If you do put them on top, he said the pods don’t dissolve properly and then don’t wash your clothes the way they are meant to.

“Always turn clothes inside out, button stuff up, ip things up, etcetera, etcetera,” he added.
He then said that towels and sheets should never go in the same load as clothes, you need to wash them all separately.
The reason for this is that if you do put them in together, it causes pilling.
“Next up, something you need for your dishwasher,” he continued. “And it’s this little blue rinse aid stuff.”
He said that if you noticed your glasses coming out spotty and things are getting as clean as you want them to be, it’s most likely because you need rinse aid.
TikTok user @daglarsen then shared the two things that should never go in the fridge as he held up some chocolate and coffee beans.
“Some people think putting their coffee beans in the fridge makes them stay fresh or longer, that’s not true,” he said. “It actually alters the taste of the coffee beans and same with chocolate.
“And they should be stored in bags like this (plastic bag) in little containers because chocolate is porous, so if you put it around other stuff it takes up all the stink of that other stuff.”
He then shared his top tip to keep shoes looking clean, explaining that people need to get themselves magic erasers.
Dag said they’re also great for baseboards and on the walls, too.
People flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts as one person wrote: “Vinegar works really well as a rinse aid!”
Another said: “Thank you. You are my parent now”.
A third posted: “I’ve been putting the pods on the top this whole time,” followed by a crying emoji.
