Zara owner has reported a record annual sales due to strong demand for their new spring and summer collections.

Inditex reported for 2023 a 10.4% rise in sales to £30.7 billion compared to £27.9 billion the year before.

The retail giant who also owns Pull & Bear has launched a new mobile app for their customers.

Inditex said its pre-tax profit for the year rose by over 28% to £5.9 billion, and earnings before interest and tax with other costs hit £8.5 billion.

Chief executive Oscar Garcia Maceiras said, “Inditex’s performance in 2023 has been excellent.

“Our teams have been able to take advantage of the opportunities to keep growing profitably.

“We are investing to drive future growth and continue to offer an attractive remuneration to shareholders.”
