The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said the Armed Force of Ukraine will “try to show results” by the end of the year with Russia’s aggression.

President Zelensky acknowledged that “every day we are losing people” in the brutal war and admitted that progress in their Spring counteroffensive has been slow.

He said, “We will try to show results this year.

“For us, it is very important because we lose people each day. It’s not for the movie or for the show, we don’t need to surprise anyone in the world.

“Every day we are losing people, less [people] than Russian – that’s good news. But we lose people, that’s bad news.”

In the south and east Zelensky said there are achievements and that he has confidence especially in the Kherson region.

Without going into any obvious details Zelensky said the Ukrainian forces have a plan for next year, he said during an interview with Reuters.

“We have a plan for the next year, a very concrete plan. But I will not share, I’m so sorry. I can’t do this,” Zelensky added.
