Adidas, Nike and Puma shares drop after Foot Locker warning

Adidas shares XE:ADS ADDYY fell 4% and Puma shares XE:PUM dropped 5%, as the German sports-gear rivals suffered from the profit warning at Foot Locker. Foot Locker reported a softening of trends in July and price sensitivity among customers. Last year, Adidas announced a strategic partnership with Foot Locker, with the former leading the sports-shoe chain’s basketball offering. Nike shares NKE also fell 4% in premarket action.
