Amazon stock rallies toward longest winning streak in 9 months

Amazon.com Inc.’s stock AMZN is extending its rally into the seventh straight session and on track to record its longest winning streak since July 21, 2022, when it also rose for seven trading days in a row, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Amazon shares, up 3.1% in Wednesday’s session, are ahead 7.8% over the current seven-session stretch. The stock is one of the best performers in the consumer discretionary sector Wednesday. Shares of Amazon have advanced 31% so far this year as the S&P 500 SPX has risen about 8%.
