BGO Strategic Capital Partners has partnered with fund manager LRC Group to invest in and acquire a 2,100-unit multi-family portfolio.
BGO will acquire 19 of LRC’s newly built and recently refurbished residential buildings for an undisclosed sum. The portfolio will also include add-on acquisitions, primarily across Greater London.
Cherine Aboulzelof, managing partner and co-head of BGO, said the investment reflected “our conviction in the resilience of the UK living sector and the opportunity to acquire scale in a structurally undersupplied market”.
She added: “Partnering with a trusted and well-respected firm like LRC gives us immediate access to a well-performing portfolio with strong in-place income and the potential to drive long-term value through hands-on asset management.”
LRC chief executive Chris Dimitriadis said: “The transaction reflects a shared long-term view on LRC’s UK residential strategy and platform. This partnership brings together two highly complementary organisations. LRC has built a leading UK residential investment and operating platform, with a strong track record across sourcing, execution and asset management.
“Partnering with BGO, a highly experienced global investor, supports our continued scaling of high-quality residential portfolios in the UK, and we look forward to working closely together over the long term.”
