New leadership for Savills private office
Savills has restructured the leadership of its Private Office, appointing Rory McMullen as co-head alongside existing co-head Alex Christian.
Savills Private Office comprises 25 real estate specialists based across a number of international locations, advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices and their advisers on property transactions.
McMullen, currently head of the North America desk, has worked at Savills for more than a decade and advises clients on cross-border transactions.
Christian, a London-based specialist in the super-prime market, will continue in his role as co-head.
McMullen said: “Our clients are more globally agile and transient than ever. The Savills Private Office is uniquely positioned to provide advice across the full spectrum of their real estate requirements, wherever they may be in the world. We plan to strategically expand the team in key wealth hubs, and to align ourselves with our existing Cross Border Investment teams around the world.”
Christian added: “What sets the Savills Private Office apart is that its members are not only experts in global wealth flows, but are also deeply embedded in their local markets, with vast experience and expertise. Oliver Robson joins Harding Green as partner
Harding Green has announced that Oliver Robson, previously of Winkworth and Chestertons, has joined the company as a partner.
Robson has worked in agency since 2017, focussing on the market in inner London.
Robson said: “I truly believe the brokerage model is the way the industry is heading, and so to be joining such a forward-thinking, technology-driven brokerage that aligns to my values of delivering an honest and highly personalised service is very exciting indeed.”

Chartway strengthens senior leadership team with two key promotions
Chartway has announced two senior leadership promotions, with David Murphy promoted to chief operating officer, while Simon Whelan steps into a new leadership role as chief compliance officer.
Murphy joined the housebuilding firm in May 2025. As COO, he will take responsibility for all operational aspects of housing delivery, including technical and pre-development, commercial and estimating, construction and customer care.
Whelan has been promoted following three years of sustained work to improve processes, procedures and accreditations across the business. The company say his appointment reflects Chartway’s continued focus on compliance, strong governance and best practice.
In his new role, Whelan will oversee group compliance, health and safety, quality, ESG and sustainability.
