TM Group, the technology business whose brands include Mio, tmconvey, and tmconnect, has announced the departure of their CEO, Joe Pepper.

Pepper joined TM Group Management Board in 2018. He led the successful acquisition and integration of Conveyancing Data Services as well as leading the business through the challenges of the pandemic.

Pepper has now decided, by mutual agreement, to step down as CEO and to, ‘pursue new professional challenges’, after the closing of the acquisition of TM Group by Aurelius – a story which EYE broke to the industry in a newsflash in August 2022

The Group say Pepper played a key role in successfully executing the company’s sale over the past twelve months.

Aurelius CEO, Matthias Täubl said: “It’s been a great pleasure to work with Joe throughout the acquisition process and I thank him for his long-standing commitment to TM Group. I wish him all the very best in his future professional and private life.“

Pepper commented: “It is with some sadness that I announce, following the acquisition of TM Group by Aurelius, I have agreed to step down from my role as CEO, a role which it has been an absolute privilege to have been able to serve in over the last five and a half years.

“I can safely say that I have never worked with such a fantastic group of people as I had the joy of working with at TM Group, and I have no doubt that the team and the group will continue to grow and develop now with the expert support and leadership of the Aurelius Group.”

Thomas März, who was involved in the acquisition of TM Group for Aurelius, will take over as interim CEO, supported by Dr. Torge Doser as active member of the Advisory Board.
