Savills has strengthened its residential sales and lettings teams in Cheshire with the appointment of Tom Burke as head of residential sales in Knutsford and Cameron Luckas as head of Cheshire lettings.

Burke, who will be responsible for property sales throughout Knutsford and East Cheshire whilst also taking on a role as head of office, is familiar with the region’s housing market having worked for nine years as head of Cheshire lettings at Savills. Prior to this, he spent seven years in London, where he worked as part of Savills’ specialist waterfront team.

Burke commented: “It is a real privilege to lead our exceptional and well-established team in Knutsford. After working alongside the team since moving back to the North West in 2015, I am looking forward to further building on our offering in both the core and prime property markets. We have a very strong multi-discipline team covering the North West and I’m excited to have an opportunity to shape this further with the support of the significant wealth of expertise we have across a diverse range of departments.”

Cameron Luckas originally joined Savills in January 2024 in a regional business development role in Manchester before stepping into his new position in which he will oversee lettings activity across the Chester, Knutsford and Wilmslow offices. Prior to joining Savills, he held the position of sales manager and subsequently branch manager for an independent sales and lettings agency in Cheshire.

The Savills Cheshire residential lettings department was established by Burke in 2015. Working closely with its specialist lettings, new homes and residential sales teams in across Cheshire and Manchester, Savills delivers a seamless service to landlords and tenants.

Luckas said: “We have established a well-performing business over the last nine years. I look forward to continuing to build our presence, using my strong local knowledge and network of clients to complement the existing – and longstanding – team. Furthermore, I am excited to be working alongside our market leading Sports & Entertainment team, leveraging our exclusive client list across our international network”.

Cameron Ewer, head of Savills’ residential business in the North West and West Midlands, added: “We are incredibly pleased to be able to provide our clients with consistency in the dynamic duo of Tom and Cameron, who already know the business and the area incredibly well. Their combined wealth of experience and local knowledge is a tremendous asset to us and our clients in Knutsford, in what we anticipate will be a very positive year ahead.”

Andrew Riley joins Fisher & Partners

Fisher & Partners has announced the addition of Andrew Riley (right), who takes on the role of managing partner for Gerrards Cross and Thame.

Riley leaves his position as associate director at Hamptons to join the London-based agency, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in the luxury property market.

Founded in 2022 by industry veterans Charlie Fisher, former Savills director, and Simon Bagguley, Fisher & Partners has attracted experienced professionals from renowned
agencies, such as Hamptons, Savills and Knight Frank.

Additions to the Fisher & Partners managing partner team last year include:

Nicholas Canham, who spent 11 years at Hamptons, joined Fisher & Partners in July
2024 as Managing Partner for the Windsor office.

Sebastian Stanford-Smith, with over 20 years of experience in selling prime properties
across Windsor and, more recently, Haywards Heath, joined the team in January 2024.

Dane Spelina, who previously worked with Knight Frank and Hamptons, became the managing partner for Maidenhead and Cookham.

Charlie Fisher commented: “Our business model is designed to empower experienced property experts to take control of their careers. By eliminating traditional agency overheads, we can offer a more flexible, personalised service to clients while providing agents with a rewarding opportunity to grow their own businesses. The success we’ve seen in the last year is a testament to the power of this approach, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”

YoungsRPS strengthens in Northallerton with key appointment

Lucy Currie

Experienced lettings manager Lucy Currie has joined youngPRS to drive growth and enhance client service. She is based in the agency’s Northallerton office.

Currie, originally from Northallerton, brings extensive experience in residential lettings management, with a strong focus on client relations and operational efficiency, according to Fiona Roe, branch manager at youngsRPS Northallerton.

She commented: “Her [Currie’s] affable personality and lettings knowledge are perfect for our continuously expanding lettings market.”

Graeme Bruce, managing director, added: “With Lucy’s expertise, youngsRPS continues to strengthen its residential lettings offering in North Yorkshire, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the market during this period of growth and change.”
