Wards Estate Agents Acquire Kite Lettings

Jason Bunning

Kent based Wards Estate Agents have confirmed the acquisition of Kite Homes, a Lettings and Property Management company based in Whitstable.

This is the second acquisition in fairly quick succession for the company, that has recently celebrated it’s centenary. Both companies have been working closely to ensure a seamless transition for their customers.

Managing Director of Operations Wards & Arun Estates, Jason Bunning, said:

“From the beginning of Kite Homes many years ago, they have always been about top tier customer service and have built up a great reputation within the Whitstable area, so with a very similar outlook, this really is a match made in heaven.

“Linda Edwards, our Lettings Branch Partner, is excited to help with this expansion of the business and meet the Kite customers, having worked for the company for over 15 years, with all that experience that brings”.

Northwood Reading & Newbury acquires Jon Rosi Management, Reading.

Mitch Mitchison

Northwood franchisee, Mitch Mitchison said:

“I am very pleased that the acquisition of Jon Rosi Management, Reading has completed, as we have been working on this for some time.

“It was a very attractive proposition for me, as although the business offers a residential sales service, it is primarily a lettings agency with a large portfolio, and it has doubled the size of my business overnight.

“Jon Rosi has been a successful family-run lettings agency in Reading for about 24 years and has a very good reputation. The previous owners worked very hard to establish an excellent relationship with their landlords, and that is something that has always been important to me at Northwood Reading & Newbury.

“We have no plans to make big changes to the business, and I am delighted that the team at Jon Rosi will be remaining with us, as this will help to ensure a smooth transition for all of our valued customers.”

Northwood MD Phil Gee said: “I am incredibly pleased for Mitch, who is a highly professional franchisee and has been with Northwood for ten years. This is his third acquisition, and by the far the largest so far, as it will make his business one of the largest in Reading. Mitch is a former military man, and I have no doubt he will apply his impeccable attention to detail and fantastic communication skills to ensure that this expansion is a huge success.
