The Costco Auto Program is back with another exclusive EV deal for its members. Beginning this month through the rest of 2024, customers can take advantage of a member-only discount on the purchase or lease of a new GMC Hummer EV pickup or SUV.
Costco is becoming a frequent member of Electrek’s homepage as its Auto Program continues to offer fresh and enticing discounts on new EV models. We’ve previously covered the renowned wholesale retailers’ deals on all-electric models like the Cadillac LYRIQ, Chevy Blazer, and Equinox EVs, the Polestar 2, and the Volvo C40 and XC40 Recharge models.
Today, the company has announced its latest discount deal, which applies to both the pickup and SUV versions of the GMC Hummer EV.
Costco Auto offering a $1,000 discount on the Hummer EV
Per Costco Auto, it began its latest program for the GMC Hummer EVs on October 1, 2024, which includes a member-exclusive discount on a new vehicle purchase or lease. Those customers can also still qualify for any additional incentives the Hummer EV may qualify for, depending on several factors, including their state of residence, annual income, and more. Jay Maxwell, general manager at Costco Auto Program, elaborated:
Costco Auto Program is excited about its first-ever Costco member-incentive on two of the most revolutionary all-electric supertrucks. The GMC Hummer was iconic before the EV versions became available and now Costco members can experience the spaciousness, durability and maneuverability of the electric pickup or SUV while receiving an exclusive incentive.
To take advantage of the limited-time GMC Hummer EV discount, Costco members must select their preferred model and register to receive a certificate to take to any GMC dealership for their purchase or lease. More details of the program are available here.
Per the Costco Auto Program, the incentives are available through January 2, 2025.
