A new UK networking platform for property professionals has been launched by two brothers who have several years experience working in the estate agency sector in the West Midlands.

The UK Homes Network is the brainchild of Chris Tremlett, who began developing the project after he was made redundant from his previous role. He is now joined by his brother, David. They both have an estate agency background.

The new app allows users to connect directly with developers, investors, agents, landlords and other industry experts.

Chris Tremlett said: “UK Homes Network will enable users to supercharge their own networks, explore limitless opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends—all in one space.

“It will enable us to create a collective voice to effect meaningful change with policymakers. It is the first and only platform of its type available in the UK.”

UK Homes Network is a web-based and mobile-based app where people can find and talk to others working in any aspect of the industry across the whole of the UK.

“I started developing it last year. I wanted to modernise and streamline the networking process and make it easier for people to not only develop their personal brands but make it easier for them to reach out directly to other professionals – that’s what UK Homes Network is all about,” said Chris. “We want to encompass everyone in the property industry and be as inclusive as possible.”

He believes there’s a demonstrable need for UK Homes Network because other social media platforms, like LinkedIn, attract often unwelcome advertisers like recruiters and website developers which interrupt the flow of communication.

“Ours is a subscription model at a similar price to Spotify or Netflix – so there’ll be a standard tier for individuals at £12.99 per month, an influencer tier for people wanting to share content like podcasts and videos and there’ll be an industry tier for larger businesses where they’ll have access to more streaming services and be able to share courses and events. They’ll also be able to show sponsored content for monetisation,” he said.

“Additionally, there’s a space within the App where members can share commercial information like land deals and property investment opportunities.

“Because we’re using a subscription model, those users who express an interest are actively motivated to see those posts because they want to do business.

“There’s no spam and no algorithms – if you want to post it will be seen by the right people because everyone on the platform is a property professional looking for opportunities or sharing knowledge and experience.”
