The Fine & Country Foundation will once again be hosting its annual Carols By Candlelight at the iconic King’s College Chapel in the heart of Cambridge next month.

The chapel has become a firm favourite among those who have supported the event in previous years, and it is the ideal setting to bring in the season with an evening of music and readings. As always, all of the proceeds from the event will go towards charities fighting against homelessness and poverty.

Ahead of the event on Sunday 3rd December 2023, Jon Cooke, trustee of the Fine & Country Foundation, said: “Through the support of the Fine & Country network and the public, The Foundation has been able to have a positive impact on many people’s lives around the globe. The annual carol concert has been a massive contributor towards the money The Foundation has raised over the years and has helped support many charities and non-profit organisations in the work they are doing in their communities.”

Last year’s event was a resounding success, raising over £17,000 in support of homeless charities that provide vital services to those in need across the Cambridgeshire region. With over 500 attendees, including Fine & Country employees, clientele, local residents, and students’ families from King’s College, the event truly embodied the spirit of giving and unity.

Once again, the proceeds from this year’s Carols by Candlelight Concert will be distributed among four deserving charities: Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians. These organisations are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of homeless individuals in the region.

The Carols by Candlelight Concert will commence at 5 pm, followed by a delightful reception with mulled wine and mince pies for VIP guests.
