Foxtons has issued a statement confirming why they decided to close the branch in Sutton.
EYE revealed last week that Foxtons has closed its Sutton branch, seven and a half years after it was opened.
A member of Foxtons’ call centre, based at its head office in Chiswick Park, advised us last week that prospective buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in and around Sutton seeking an in-person service with Foxtons should now look to visit the company’s Kingston branch – located eight miles away.
However, a spokesperson for Foxtons has now informed EYE that the Sutton team has joined the Foxtons New Malden office, situated five miles away.
The spokesperson told EYE: “After two years of working closely together, the Foxtons Sutton team have moved to join the team in Foxtons New Malden, where they will be working from the same office.
“Both sales and lettings for Sutton will be handled by the same fantastic team, providing the same great level of service. Like every business, we regularly review the size and shape of our network to ensure it meets the needs of today’s customers.”
