France will be confident of keeping their Grand Slam hopes alive this afternoon with the visit of Italy in the Six Nations.

Les Blues are looking for a third win on the spin after convincing victories over Wales and Ireland, and now welcome Italy to Lille.

France coach Fabien Galthie has made changes to his second row, with Emmanuel Meafou and Thibaud Flament coming into the starting XV.

Meafou steps up from the bench, where he had featured in France’s two previous victories in the tournament, while Flament only played the second match against Wales. He was ruled out of the opening 36-14 win over Ireland due to personal reasons.

Italy fullback Ange Capuozzo has returned from injury in the only change to the side, which lost to Ireland last weekend.

Capuozzo fractured his finger playing for Toulouse in the French league in late December and missed the opening two matches of the competition against Scotland and Ireland.

But the 26-year-old, who was born in France, has been brought back and replaces Lorenzo Pani.
