Lang Llewellyn & Co has acquired Parkes & Pearn, an established estate and lettings agency based in Liskeard, as part of its ongoing expansion across Cornwall.

Parkes & Pearn will continue to operate under its existing name from its Liskeard office, with the current team remaining in place. The acquisition adds a branch with both sales and lettings operations to the Lang Llewellyn & Co group.

Joel Mitchell will continue to lead the lettings side as Branch Manager, with Beth taking responsibility for sales. They will work alongside Lang Llewellyn & Co directors Sophie Lang, Rhiannon Llewellyn, and Charlotte Rayner, who will provide support across operations, compliance, and client service.

Sophie Lang, co-founder of Lang Llewellyn & Co, said: “We’re building a network of strong, locally trusted brands underpinned by shared infrastructure, compliance expertise and marketing support. Parkes & Pearn is an excellent fit for that model — a values-led business with a loyal client base and a brilliant team.”

The acquisition is part of Lang Llewellyn & Co’s ongoing strategy to grow through partnership with established independent agencies, offering them the benefits of shared systems, training and operational resources while preserving their independence and local reputation.

Brett Pearn, co-founder of Parkes & Pearn, commented: “This move secures continuity for our clients and stability for our staff, while giving us access to the scale and resources needed to thrive in a changing marketplace. What stood out about Lang Llewellyn & Co was their collaborative approach — they support independent culture rather than absorbing it.”
