Estate and letting agents across the UK have until Thursday 20 June to complete the latest The Voice of the Agent survey, which explores the impact of the Labour government’s first year in office on the housing market, planning system and rental reform.

This third phase of the UK’s largest independent agent insight project focuses on economics, politics and housing. Agents who complete the short survey will receive an exclusive advance copy of the full report, due for release next month.

Curated by Simon Leadbetter, former Knight Frank and Countrywide group marketing director, and the consultancy We Are Unchained, the series has become a vital barometer of sentiment within the estate agency profession. Previous editions have addressed portal dominance, AI adoption, and the sustainability imperative.

This edition examines:

+ Confidence in the housing market and economy under Labour

+ Views on planning reform, rental legislation and housing supply

+ Regional differences in market sentiment

+ The policy changes agents want next

Simon Leadbetter said: “This is a unique opportunity for agents to influence the national conversation. With a new government settling in and big housing reforms on the table, the industry’s Voice matters more than ever. But we need those views in now; the deadline is this Thursday, and the report is out in early July.”

The survey, which can be accessed here, is anonymous, and takes just under 15 minutes to complete.
