Winkworth franchisee Sean Doyle has taken over a third office –  in Beckenham on the fringes of London and commuter Kent.

Sean Doyle has owned the Winkworth Forest Hill and Winkworth New Cross office franchises for the past eight years, and the acquisition of Winkworth Beckenham follows a popular migration route of buyers who want to move out of South-east London.

Aaron Watson, an agent with longstanding knowledge and experience in  the local area, has been appointed as sales manager. The office is also offering lettings.

Sean Doyle, who has lived in the Beckenham area for many years, said: “From our Forest Hill and New Cross offices, we see many people who make the next move to the Beckenham area so this is a natural business progression for me.

“It’s a great place to live, with a traditional  high street and lovely parks.  Our target market is mainly family homes from £1m to around £3m.  Many families choose Beckenham if they are planning to send their children to Dulwich College, Alleyn’s, Trinity or Whitgift independent schools but there are also good state schools such as Langley Boys and Langley Girls, plus Newstead Wood for girls and Forest Hill for boys.”

Dominic Agace, chief executive of Winkworth, added: “We are delighted that Sean has expanded his business to cover Beckenham.  He joins a growing number of successful Winkworth franchisees who establish successful offices and then grow their business by capitalising on the opportunities  offered by the property market in and around their local areas.

“Winkworth’s well-established network of offices provides buyers and sellers with local experts  to look after their property needs at different stages of their lives.”
